You see,  she is adorned with Boston Ivy across her 2 stories, and her foliage grows and changes colors throughout the year, giving this home a character all of her own.

I am going to shoot the exteriors views in the next several days as the trees are and Ivy are just starting to bloom – look for more photos soon.

Brick House ~ Kitchen

George asked me if  I would mind documenting his home in 360VR as a keepsake. He is also a photographer, (it’s rare to find two of us on the same block) but he does not shoot 360VRs,  so I was happy and honored to grab my kit and knock it out for him.

It was great having George show me around his childhood home, which he has remodeled and restored with great affection. As we walked room to carefully crafted room, he expressed his hope to find the right real estate agent and the right buyer for her. I have no doubt he will.

I created this rotating aerial photo during the inaugural season of the New Yankee Stadium. It is one of my all time favorite photo creations.

I have been keeping up with all that’s been going on with the club through this winter and spring training at my favorite Yankee Blog – these guys have the best New York Yankee insider coverage around.

Hudson River Sunrise ~ Nyack, NY

Recently I was on  Broadway in Nyack, NY photographing a 360 virtual tour, when a gentleman in his sixties approached me.  A long conversation started between us as we learned we both had an interest in real estate photography and bald eagles. They are making a big come back on the lower Hudson River, and I have seen them early winter mornings, soaring over the ice floes and just above my car as I cross the Tappan Zee Bridge.  He said he had developed an interest in photography in the 1960’s while working in his father’s real estate office, and then proceeded to list the numerous film cameras he had owned through the years. “Yeah, I have a digital camera these days, and I will be buying the newest Canon 7D,” he remarked “but you know, digital killed photography.” And without pause I said, “I know”.

1883 Lighthouse - Sleepy Hollow, NY

Winter is slowly giving way to Spring here in the Hudson Valley. It is snowing lightly as I write this. Soon my inbox will be filled with requests  for aerial photography and virtual tours of property listings from loyal and new real estate clients alike; who like me, are gearing up for the warm weather and longer days.

Greening of the landscapes, lawns and foliage will begin South to North, with New York City, New Jersey and Rockland County aerial photography starting to take off mid to late April, and Upstate New York and Connecticut aerial photography starting to look best by mid to late May. Get your clients to open their pools early folks!

To view this photo interactively: Imagine you are bundled up like Ralphy’s little brother in “A Christmas Story”. Sniffling with teeth chattering, and fingers and toes starting to go numb after being aloft for over an hour. You are now heading north past the Tappan Zee Bridge over Westchester on the Hudson River, between Sleepy Hollow and Nyack. The sun is at your back and can no longer warm you; it is minus 2 degrees at altitude with a liquid cold 80 mph wind finding its way into every seam of your ski suit. You will shiver for hours after landing even with a Venti Americano coffee in your hands. I almost feel bad at times asking my pilot to go up there with me.
